doggy daycare overview
Dog Care is our Passion
Dog daycare is a great option for many dogs and offers a lot of great benefits to your pup AND you.
Do you have a new puppy? Bringing them to puppy daycare is a great way to socialize them. We won’t toss your pup into an overwhelming playroom of 20+ dogs. They’ll play in a controlled environment, enjoying supervised socialization with a small group of friends to ensure a positive experience while developing their social stills and having fun.
Do you need a little extra help getting your high energy dog the exercise they need? Give yourself a break and spoil your dog with weekly daycare to play with their friends. You’ll both be ready to relax at the end of the day – it’s a win-win for everyone.
Maybe you need to be out and about longer than your dog is able to stay home alone. You can feel confident that your dog will be well cared for at Red Oaks doggy daycare. We’re passionate about getting to know your dog personally so that we can make sure they have fun and are always excited to come back to hang out with their friends at Red Oaks Pet Inn!

Dogs are let out 5 times per day for up to 20 minutes each time. They’ll have the chance to go potty, wrestle with friends, sniff around the yard, or play with staff in our half-acre play yard.
In between play time, they’ll get time to rest in our climate controlled, large and private kennels. They can nap, play with their toys, or watch the neighborhood chipmunk – recharging for their next play session.

The way we structure our play times is intentional and with the best interest of our guests in mind. For most dogs, being in a space with a large number of dogs for an extended period of time with no breaks can actually be pretty overstimulating and exhausting for them.
We believe that it is more enriching (and safe) to provide a structured routine that includes ample time for exercise and mental stimulation while also allowing for important rest breaks in a private space. This gives your dog time to nap, relax and recharge for another round of playtime. It prevents overstimulation and frustration. We tailor our play groups so that dogs aren’t forced to be around other pups that don’t match their energy or personality. We actively engage with all of the dogs to ensure they are making the most of their time outside and go home happy and ready to chill, not stressed or exhausted.
You can just show up with your dog on his or her leash, and you will be good to go! If your dog requires food or medication while they spend the day with us, bring it along. Additionally, you are welcome to bring your pup’s favorite toys, treats and bedding, but those are all optional and we’re happy to provide your pup with comfortable bedding while they’re here.
Please do NOT bring: rope toys, rawhide treats, feeding bowls (unless special bowl is required), e-collars or bark collars.
If your dog is anxious around strangers, we’ll respect their boundaries and supervise their outside time from a distance. We’re happy to work with them over time, taking things slowly so that they can warm up to us at their own pace.
We are more than happy to work with you and your non-social dog to provide a safe and enjoyable daycare experience that allows for plenty of play time with staff one-on-one, without the presence of other dogs.
We are open early and late to make pick-ups and drop-offs convenient. Our hours are Monday – Friday: 7:30am – 7:00pm and Saturday – Sunday: 8:00am – 6:00pm.
If you’re running late please give us a call at (218) 829-1902.
